Delaney has been working in theatre for over ten years. Starting as a performer in 2014, she discovered her love for theatre at the age of thirteen. As she continued to perform, she also started working backstage. She began Stage Managing in 2020 at Parkland College and fell in love with the process. She has Stage Managed multiple productions including Sister Act, Arsenic and Old Lace, Carrie: the Musical, and The Music Man.

Delaney has designed in multiple departments. She has worked as a Costume Designer and Scenic Designer. She has also worked as a Light Board Operator and Sound Board Operator, so she has literally had her fingers in most aspects of theatre.

Delaney started studying Scenic Technology her Junior year of college at the University of Illinois, where she earned her Bachelors in Fine Arts. She has worked as the Technical Director for LYRIC Under the Stars at the University of Illinois, and The Lion King, jr. and Finding Nemo, jr. at DLO Musical Theatre. She has also worked as the Assistant Technical Director for Coriolanus and Witch at the University of Illinois.

Delaney has a real deep love of theatre, but she has a special place in her heart specifically for Youth Theatre. Not only has she worked as a Designer, Stage Manager, and Technical Director for multiple youth productions, but she has also used those positions to train children interested in working behind the scenes. Her Technical Directing position at DLO Musical Theatre involves training children how to both design and build scenery.
